Understanding React Components

React components are one of the most important parts of React. They allow developers to split the user interface into small, reusable pieces.

In this project, I practiced working with components and learned how they help keep the code cleaner and easier to understand.

What is a React component?

A React component is a function that returns JSX. It can display text, images, buttons, lists, cards, forms, or any other part of the interface.

Instead of writing all HTML in one large file, we can create separate components and reuse them in different places.

Why components are useful

Components make the project more organized. Each component can be responsible for one small part of the page.

For example, a blog project can have separate components for:

  • layout
  • header
  • post list
  • date
  • navigation
  • footer

This makes the code easier to read, update, and maintain.

What I learned

While working with React components, I learned how to:

  • create reusable UI parts
  • pass content through props
  • use children inside a layout component
  • keep pages cleaner
  • separate logic from structure
  • organize files in a React project

Conclusion

React components help build modern websites in a structured way. They are an important part of frontend development, and this project helped me understand how reusable components work in practice.
